Kiwind Media designed a MENA-centric strategy for Careem, inspired by Grab’s successful growth framework. Leveraging insights from our robust Data Management Platform (DMP), we built a hyper-targeted campaign driven by real-time data and machine learning. Starting with intent-based targeting, we focused on users actively engaging with similar apps. As the campaign progressed, our models evolved to identify and re-engage highly active users post-installation. This dynamic targeting approach helped us exceed ROAS goals, achieving a 30% increase in new user acquisition within just one month. Alongside hitting deep-funnel KPIs, this strategy delivered strong immediate results while laying the groundwork for long-term growth across the Careem platform
CAMPAIGN GOAL
Careem set out to boost sales and user engagement by using interactive ad formats across all in-app media and online display channels, aiming to create a seamless and rewarding user journey while effectively promoting their services.
RESULT
Kiwind Media’s performance-driven strategies significantly accelerated Careem’s growth across the MENA region. By optimizing ad placements through advanced machine learning models and leveraging insights from our Data Management Platform (DMP), we achieved over 120L+ app installs and 45K+ completed orders, with a strong 35% approval rate across channels.
Our intent-based targeting strategy identified high-converting users early in the funnel, resulting in a 30% increase in new user acquisition within the first month. The campaign consistently outperformed ROAS KPIs, with a notable uplift in deep-funnel engagement, including repeat usage and higher retention rates.
Through precise user-level targeting and continuous optimization, we ensured efficient budget allocation, reduced acquisition costs, and maximized lifetime value (LTV).
